Finding aid for the collection. The collection is in two series. Series I contains primarily letters, greeting cards and postcards received by Allen from family and friends during his college years, 1940-1942. Series II contains court papers, financial records, insurance documents, receipts, and ephemera related to Allen's relative, James H. Joyner, a medical doctor in Sumner County, Tenn., in the late 19th century. |
