Description: Finding aid for a collection. Collection description: Two books donated and inscribed by Hanley, related to the history of the 504th Bomb Group and the 20th Air Force in World War II: History of the 504th Bomb Group (VH) in World War II, prepared by Hanley; and: The 20th Air Force album, by Richard M. Keenan. Fiske Hanley II received a degree in aeronautical engineering from Texas Technological College in 1943. He served in the Army Air Force as a flight engineer during World War II, and was posted with the 504th Bomb Group in the Pacific campaign. He was held as a prisoner of war by the Japanese. He is a historian.
