A team of "planet hunters" from Tennessee State, the University of California, Carnegie Mellon and NASA used a robotic telescope mounted at Vanderbilt's Dyer Observatory to make the find. Exploration, Vanderbilt's science website, is plugged. Wolf reports that Associate Professor of Political Science Josh Clinton will be a behind-the-scenes analyst for NBC News' coverage of the 2010 elections. Vanderbilt graduate and MSNBC anchor Willie Geist is shown wearing a Vanderbilt football T-shirt in an appearance on Joe Scarborough's Bipartisan Health Challenge.
