dc.description | Professor Jack Sasson comments on a cylinder seal that has the name of Ishi-Addu. The seal was reconstructed from fragments found by excavation teams at OB-Mishrifeh. Ishi-Addu is believed to be the king who ruled Qatna during the Old Babylonian period. Professor Sasson discusses the possible translations of the cuneiform signs found on the seal and the difficulties associated with each translation. | en_US |
